FYI... We stumbled upon a site that seems to be an up and coming site for fundraising events & information such as telemarketing scams.. We found out one charity we gave to the telemarketing company keeps over 80%!! WOW i am upset.. But what we were looking for was a fundraiser for our youth group at church and this site seems to be a pretty good one... Still very new but check it out if you give to charities and watch it, as I emailed the webmaster and he/she have a good plan in place to make this a really good consumer site..

Occassionally, we will also recommend sites that may not be directly focused on ebay selling etc... but I can tell you that the charity was Children's Wish Foundation, which is one that was offered on ebay's donation to a charity option for your auctions!!! So, we try to act as a community would and inform each other about thoughtful news both good and unfortunatly bad...

One of the best ways to sell on ebay and the most overlooked is through the "ebay stores". Compared to the insertion fee of an auction or fixed price listing: .20 and up to a couple bucks the store allows you to list items for .02 each for 30 days!!! Actually on the stores you will realize a higher price than auction format usually. When I was first told this I was not totally convinced of the fact that the stores would work that well and especially increase the realized price for an item.. HOwever, upon much research in many categories and through a vast selection of products we have found this to be true. FOr instance, when selling sports cards we would list many of these cards in our store at "BOOK" price and on our auction we would sell with starting at a penny, at "Book" price, and other intervals. Where the auctions varied in price realized compared to % of " BOOK" we very seldom sold a card for above 60% of book price. However, on the store we sold many items for 100% of "BOOK" price. Now i know this is foreign to those not in the card industry, but " BOOK" price has become to mean nothing except an over-estimated guess at the value by "Beckett" magazines. For example, if book is $100 many sellers will sell for 50% or $50 and ebay usually brings from 10-50%- with few exceptions of truly "HOT" cards. With our store we had a low sell rate, but what we did sell it was a huge increase in profit.. With the .02 insertion for 30 days we could actually save a ton of money as compared to the auction format even at the lowest incertion fee of .20... THIS is true across all categories as some people want it NOW and they will just as well buy from the store on Buy It Now and since ebay's search will now show the store inventory and google's own Froggle shopping center shows only the store listings this is more convienent to a large group of ebay's shoppers.. to try out the stores free for a month click below
